Mind Control in America

At what point in time did we become such a mental weaklings that it became necessary to have a talking head on television explain to me what someone said and what I should think about it?
In my professional life I have observed that many people (especially younger generations) lack critical thinking skills. Really? DUH! When I no longer have to interpret what information I glean through my senses it tends to atrophy that part of the brain utilized for the (now) non-essential processing of information.
Want to know who the candidate corporate media wants elected is? Want to know what social agenda corporate media wants to impose on the public? Watch television. What is the subject matter? What are the character views? What are story lines about? These shows are designed to tell you how and what to think since you are (and/or should be, in their view) incapable of thinking on your own. Did you ever wonder why they call television schedules PROGRAMMING?
I believe the correct term for humans in this state is ZOMBIE, which means a mind-less, will-less person.
